The Application Support Analyst (ASA) position serves as an Information Technology subject matter expert on internal and third-party applications and integrations. The ASA will become the application owner with responsibilities including administration, support, planning activities, and training. The ASA partners closely with employees from all levels at Stax to support processes, generate requirements, and execute optimizations to meet those requirements. You will use your knowledge and experience to test, maintain and implement systems, and train users on processes and procedures for better utilization of ERP, CRM, and other business applications. You will be the application subject matter expert in guiding improvements in systems and processes.


Specifically, in this role you will:

  • Provide technical and application expertise related to enterprise applications such as ERP, HR, CRM, Contact Management, SharePoint, and department supported applications.
  • Administer configurations and maintain test and production environments.
  • Understand and document best practices as described by the industry or vendor.
  • Take ownership for technical and system application issue resolution.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes, updates, and support maintenance.
  • Collaborate with data analyst to maintain data mapping and justification for the use of third-party data sources.
  • Collaborate with business analyst to provide unit application testing and quality assurance support.
  • Support business analysts, project managers, end-users, and service desk on the maintenance of services and applications.
  • Collaborate on the preparation of technical documentation for application configuration and training.
  • Collaborate in the development of user and systems requirements for proposed applications and upgrades.
  • Participate on project teams as the technical representative of IT-supported applications and integrations.
  • Engage with the business analyst to develop and implement disaster recovery, maintenance procedures, and application roadmaps.


  • Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated academic excellence, ideally in a discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Information Management.
  • Proven working experience as a system or application administrator or owner.
  • Strong understanding of IT Controls, SOC, and PII.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with administration of enterprise applications (ERP, PAS, Contact management, CRM, SaaS and other applications.)
  • Workday, MS Dynamics, HubSpot, SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem and Microsoft Office.
  • Detail oriented, self-starter with an intellectual curiosity and teamwork capabilities.
  • Excellent critical thinking, understanding of business research and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with a project base consulting business is a big plus.
