Associate Data Analyst

As the data analyst, your role will be to help the organization continuously identify opportunities for improvement. You will design (with the internal client) and implement data solutions that will

The Data Analyst will conduct full lifecycle analysis including gathering requirements, planning activities, and design. Data Analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control to identify improvements.

Specifically, in this role you will:

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports, dashboards, and periodic notifications with targeted insight to key stakeholders
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Locate and define process improvement opportunities and streamline repetitive tasks
• Provide support to the Directors of Finance and Planning, Finance, HR.
• Help Business Development understand and refine the current mix of products in our projects
• Understand and maintain data mappings and data flow diagrams
• Assist with the implementation and optimization of systems (ERP, CRM, HR)
• Troubleshoot and diagnose data quality issues and anomalies and offer data findings and analysis outcomes
• Self-motivate to learn and eager to understand data, business processes, concepts, and technologies

• Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated academic excellence, ideally in a discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques

• Proven ability to generate insights, draw meaningful conclusions, and implications from data
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings

• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Tableau, Cognos BI, Power BI), statistics analysis tools (SPSS, R, SAS, Mini Tab, etc.), databases (SQL Mongol, MySQL, etc.), programming (Python, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)

• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem and Microsoft Office

• Detail oriented, self-starter with an intellectual curiosity and teamwork capabilities

• Excellent critical thinking, understanding of business research and analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with a project base consulting business is a big plus
